Workflow

The unit’s workflow, monitoring, and communication with graduates

First: Communication and Follow-up Mechanism:
  • Sending the unit’s website and social media platforms, which has been prepared by Electronic Services and Scientific Innovation Center (ESSIC) and activated by the Engineering Alumni Unit (EAU), to all industrial, engineering, and technological institutions, in order to announce about our graduates and their specialization every year.

  • Contacting all different institutions to update their phone numbers and email addresses, in order to maintain communication with them and inform our graduates with any new training courses or services provided by the faculty through the Engineering Alumni Unit.

  • Sending a contact update form containing industrial, engineering, and technological institutions, for graduates to fill in their personal details (name, phone number, work address, email, website) and suggest the training courses they would like to attend. These forms are requested to be sent back to the Alumni Unit after completion.
Second: Unit’s Workflow:
  • Establishing a dedicated database for faculty graduates and continuously updating it.

  • Communicating with graduates through various communication channels to strengthen their relationship with the faculty.

  • Launching, and maintaining the unit’s website to communicate with graduates and announce all its activities, as well as providing useful information and data for graduates.

  • Creating an annual guide for faculty graduates.

  • Conducting studies, research, and surveys on the various job market requirements.

  • Publishing an annual magazine that includes news relevant to the graduates.

  • Recording success stories of outstanding graduates and regularly publishing them in the unit’s magazine.

  • Updating the data collection questionnaires, which are developed by the unit annually to capture the courses that graduates are interested in taking.

  • Updating the training plan for the following year based on the collected communication forms and questionnaires, taking into account the priorities of fulfilling graduates’ preferences according to the available resources.

  • Sending the updated training plan to all industrial, engineering, and technological institutions to inform all graduates about the courses, their schedules, registration procedures, and instructors (the plan will be available on the unit’s social media platform).

  • Preparing evaluations before and after each training course to assess the course’s performance and the level of its achievements, measuring the effectiveness of the training courses, as well as evaluating the trainers’ performance.
